ABOUT ME

Tireca “Rec” Bright is a mother, author, resilience strategist, and founder of The Resiliency Tribe — a movement rooted in compassion, healing, and emotional safety. Her story is one of rising through adversity and choosing to live with intention, purpose, and kindness.


After facing postpartum struggles, career loss, family challenges, and the weight of everyday survival, Rec discovered that the tools she needed to rebuild her life were already inside her. Those tools became her framework: The 5 Pillars of Resilience — Energy, Strong Relationships, Inner Drive, Flexible Thinking, and Future Focus.
Not only did these pillars transform her life, they became the foundation for her book, Building Resilience EveryDay, a testimony-based guide that helps others shift from chaos to clarity.


Today, Rec travels the country speaking, teaching, and spreading kindness through her “Go Grab Lunch” initiative — a simple act of compassion that has touched strangers in dozens of cities and continues to expand across the nation.
Her mission is more than a message. It’s a movement. She is living proof that resilience is not something you are born with — it’s something you build, practice, and share. Through love, truth, and community, Rec is making kindness contagious, one pillar at a time.”
